It’s hard to believe that another year is coming to a close – it feels like yesterday that we were recapping our 2021 innovations on The Responsive Weekly!
This year was no exception for the platform milestones and innovations created for fundraisers so you can create a more responsive experience for your supporters.
From updating our navigation and usability to releasing the ability to run ticketed events to acquiring volunteer platform, Virtuous Volunteer, every step of the way, we kept you at the heart of each innovation.
Let’s dive into 2022’s top releases!
Events are arguably a key part of many organizations’ annual calendars. From community movie nights to town halls to the annual gala, events help fundraisers not only raise critical funds for their cause but connect deeply, and in person, with their supporters.
With Virtuous’ ticketed Events, your team can unlock even more functionality than Standard Events in Virtuous. In addition to creating events, inviting individuals, and tracking RSVPs and attendance, you can create tickets, add-ons, and sponsorships, create your own branded registration page, and even collect custom information like t-shirt size, meal preferences, and more!
Receipts are a critical part of the donor journey – regardless if they’re a new donor or a long-time supporter. That’s why we’ve updated our receipting capabilities to help you better serve your supporters! Now it’s possible to send PDF receipts as email attachments to donors.
But there’s more! No one likes a plain or generic thank you email! When sending a PDF receipt as an email attachment, you can still use the email receipt editor to edit the email your donors receive, so you can craft a personalized thank you message.
We couldn’t forget about our Canadian friends to the North! For those organizations based in Canada, we’ve updated our receipting tool to be CRA-compliant. That way you can send compliant, secure, and digital PDF receipts via email to your donors. Plus, see the audit trail for when a receipt has been issued – giving you a full picture of your donor’s history.
Virtuous has always had a ‘CRM Dashboard’ and a ‘Marketing Dashboard’ but they lived in separate places. This year, we brought these dashboards together, with a toggle option that lets you switch between dashboards and even set one as your default.
We didn’t stop there! We took dashboards to the next level by added TWO new dashboards along CRM and Marketing – Custom Dashboards and Responsive Dashboard.
With the new Responsive Dashboard, you can see a slew of new widgets (twelve, to be exact!) that showcases data points for notable information like Lapsed v New Donors, Net Active Donors, Touch Points Per Contact, Web Visitors, and more!
And if you like to really customize your experience, you can now customize your very own dashboard complete with the widgets of your choosing. Share it with others or make it a private dashboard just for you, you can add up to twenty widgets to display on the new dashboard.
We took this spring to – well – spring clean! In an effort to make your platform experience more enjoyable and easier to use, we updated our navigation to be collapsible and take up less real estate on the Home Screen. That way you can see everything in one quick glance as opposed to a navigation bar taking up some of that space.
Not only did we spruce up the side navigation bar, but by popular request, we introduced the ability to customize the Quick Actions panel with your six most frequently-used pages and tools! Each user can customize the Quick Actions to their liking too.
