Introducing Wealth Scoring in Momentum: A Capacity Profile for Every Donor

TL;DR:

  • Every contact synced into Virtuous Momentum now returns an estimated wealth score, net worth, donation capacity, and property value/equity
  • No Virtuous CRM+ required. Works across Virtuous CRM+, Raiser’s Edge NXT, Salesforce NPSP, and Blackbaud CRM
  • No match? You get an explicit no-match state and a reason, not a guess
  • Virtuous Insights customers get additional scores based on their own giving history and engagement

A Different Approach to Wealth Screening

All gift officers strive to know their donors personally…what they care about, why they give, important personal details about their lives. But at the end of the day, it’s impossible to hold this for every single supporter in your file. Despite best intentions, some donors exist as a name, an address, a giving history, nothing more.

We built Wealth Scoring in Momentum to close that gap.

Now, every contact synced into Momentum comes back enriched with a wealth and capacity profile. All powered by our AI-powered research prospecting tool, Virtuous Insights.

Momentum customers get this data regardless of whether or not they use Virtuous CRM+ and Virtuous Insights.

How It Works

Insights is our AI-powered prospecting tool that generates wealth and capacity data.

Momentum is our AI fundraising assistant.

Wealth scoring in Momentum taps into the wealth capacity knowledge of Virtuous Insights for all Momentum customers.

Every contact synced into Momentum returns with:

  • Estimated Wealth Score
  • Estimated Net Worth
  • Five-Year Estimated Donation Capacity
  • Estimated Property Value
  • Total Estimated Property Equity

These are built from third-party income and net worth signals combined with real estate records, generated by Insights and passed directly into Momentum.

No Virtuous CRM+ Required

Momentum already ingests customer data regardless of the system it lives in, including Virtuous CRM+, Raiser’s Edge NXT, Salesforce NPSP, and Blackbaud CRM. If your database isn’t Virtuous, you’ll still get this data in Momentum.

When It Doesn’t Know, It Says So

Rather than returning a guess when there isn’t enough to go on, the system returns an explicit no-match state and tells you why. The two reasons are:

  • Insufficient identifying information
  • No property records found, which may mean the person rents, owns their home outright, or recently moved

What Virtuous Insights Customers Get

Wealth Scoring in Momentum draws on third-party signals available to any synced contact.

But if you already have Virtuous Insights, you’ll get additional scores modeled on donors’ own giving history and engagement, a composite giving score broken into wealth and capacity, connection, and likelihood, and suggested gift amounts based on different ask needs.
