Virtuous, the category-leading responsive fundraising platform for nonprofits, has been named to Inc.’s 2026 Best Workplaces list. It’s the fourth consecutive year Virtuous has made the list, which recognizes the companies building the strongest cultures, whether they operate in an in-person, hybrid, or remote environment.
The reason is simple. Virtuous exists to help nonprofits grow generosity by serving every donor personally, and that same commitment shows up in the culture of the company and how the team treats one another.
The award is based largely on employee feedback, and here’s how a few team members put it in this year’s survey:
“Virtuous has far and above been the greatest company I have worked for. There is consistent effort put in (from the top down) to ingrain a positive culture, where everyone’s input is considered and everyone is set up to succeed. I feel I can go to my direct supervisor or the CEO for any issue or question, anytime. I believe this is reflected in the service our customers experience and product we provide.”
“This organization treats both customers and internal employees with respect. I believe that everyone in the organization wants our customers to succeed and that is how we succeed. We are all about continuous improvement, growth and mission success.”
“Virtuous is a company that cares about integrity and humility, and it’s shown throughout the entire organization, including the senior leaders. We work hard, but we have a deep purpose to our work and a clear direction for what we’re trying to accomplish.”
Inc. raised the bar for this year’s Best Workplace list, looking specifically for sustained investment in people.
“This year’s Best Workplaces list goes beyond great company culture. It highlights companies making meaningful and sustained investment in their employees. Even in a labor market that favors employers, these companies understand that an intentional and authentic commitment to their teams drives stronger employee retention, engagement, and ultimately, a stronger business overall.” -Bonny Ghosh, Editorial Director, Inc.
To earn a spot, each company went through a months-long evaluation by Inc., including a detailed benefits audit, employee feedback surveys, and a review by Inc.’s research team.
Recognition like this reflects the work of the entire Virtuous team, whose commitment to one another and to the nonprofits they serve is what makes the culture what it is.
